Gaylord Palms ICE!

ICE! is back at Gaylord Palms Resort beginning November 10, 2012 - January 1, 2013.

This holiday season be part of Orlando's coolest attraction ICE! Featuring a walk-through igloo and a towering gingerbread candy house, meticulously hand-carved from enormous blocks of colored ice.

The theme for this year's ICE! is DreamWorks' Merry Madagascar. Relive the story of how Alex the Lion and his friends saved Christmas after Santa and his reindeer crash onto the island of Madagascar.   DreamWorks Animation characters will be brought to life in an interactive world of colorful ice sculptures carved entirely from TWO-MILLION pounds of ice.

Take a trip to the North Pole and interact your favorite Dreamworks characters and view the dazzling lights of the magnificent Christmas décor throughout the resort and spirited Luminescence Christmas show.

The attraction is carved by a team of 40 artisans from Harbin, China. The talented artisans spend more than a month in Kissimmee creating this one-of-a-kind attraction. Harbin is best known for its annual International Ice and Snow Festival, where more than 2,000 sculptors annually carve a 100-acre walk-through Ice Park from ice taken from the Songhua River.

In addition to ICE!, this year’s Gaylord Palms Christmas program will include:

As for the chill, visitors are given oversized parkas to stay comfortable inside the attraction, which is kept at a blustery 9 degrees.

ICE! tickets range from $22.99 adults and $13.99 children (4 - 12) depending on the type of ticket, and day of the week. Florida residents can save up to $4.00 per ticket with a promotional code provided in the website.
